Christopher Cox teaches Global Studies at San Jose State University and serves as Affirmative Action Representative for the San Jose State Chapter of the California Faculty Association (CFA).

Cox is an activist in CFA, which represents more than 27,000 faculty within the California State University system, and is a long-time member of CFHE.
